BUILDING BRIDGES: UNDER 17s
BUILDING BRIDGES: Under 17s is a weekly session running from 4 September to 23 October 2025 at Caffi Isa Community Centre. As part of our ongoing project with the National Lottery Community Fund, it creates a space for young people to be themselves even as they explore their next chapter in secondary school. We use improv techniques to gently support their growth as they navigate the world of school, friendships and family life - an exercise in healthy social integration.
PLAY
Our sessions have two equally inclusive pathways. PLAY runs every two weeks and is our most open session. It’s more accessible to those new to the group and improv, with obstacles like language barriers and cultural expectations being addressed in a fun-filled, playful and creative setting.
We explore fun games, short scenes and activities based around the experiences of their everyday lives. As this is a regular session, we see positive changes in their confidence, attitude and well-being.

PERFORM
Our PERFORM pathway runs within our PLAY session. As our participants gain more experience and confidence in front of their peers, they respond well to challenges and goals. This session is focused on taking everything they learn in PLAY and learn how to run and perform their own show. Children from all backgrounds can join this session at any stage in their journey with us!
